Longstanding skate-punk icons and California punkers Pulley are back after announcing their first new release since 2016, just less than a month away. The band has always been keen to explore fast and loud punk sounds, but this time around, they are releasing an acoustic collection of past classics. The EP Different Strings will be comprised of songs exclusively from Pulley’s first album Esteem Drive Engine. The idea to release a collection of their songs in an alternate format first came up years ago, and Pulley began to work on recording the EP at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
