The last show that Luke Preece went to before lockdown hit was at the Underworld in London on March 12, 2020 to watch a triple heavyweight bill of Cruelty, Palm Reader and headliners Employed To Serve. “As a last gig, that was a pretty great to go to,” he smiles, recalling a night that feels like it happened a lifetime ago. Despite the curtailing of his show-going endeavours, Luke has been a busy man during the pandemic, his reputation as one of this country’s pre-eminent illustrators placing him in high demand.
