Desert Sessions Volumes 11 & 12 Will Be Out in October

Between 1997 and 2003, Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme periodically got a bunch of musicians together at Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree, California, and recorded a bunch of heavy, psychedelic, improvised tunes — never to be played again. (Unless, of course, you count the ones that later became QOTSA songs, like I Wanna Make It Wit Chu, Monsters In The Parasol, and You Think I Ain’t Worth a Dollar, But I Feel Like a Millionaire.) Collaborators included Mark Lanegan, PJ Harvey, Brant Bjork, QOTSA producer Dave Catching, Eagles of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes, and many others.
