DIY alt-pop singer-songwriter zinha, aka Luisa Chumbinho, unveils her debut single, “why do you make me wait?.” The song is taken from her forthcoming debut EP, , slated to drop later this summer. Zinha is originally from Portugal and is now based in the UK. After talking with her friend/songwriter/producer Josh Christopher, she called her solo project zinha, her family nickname. Working with Christopher in his DIY recording studio located in a small town, the pair crafted eight new songs for zinha’s upcoming EP, including “why do you make me wait?,” “so blue,” the Latin-flavoured “you’re my biggest regret,” and “walls.” At the present juncture, zinha splits her time between the UK and Portugal.
