German industrial legends Rammstein are known for their bombastic, out-of-this world live show, complete with giant stage props, stunts and special effects (read: lots of flames). Today, the band’s identity has become inseparable from their massive, pyrotechnic-heavy live show. But while It’s hard to imagine a pre-Du Hast world, it existed, and their live shows started out very differently as well, as evidenced by this video of the band performing Weisses Fleisch in Germany in 1994, their first year as a band, and a year before the release of their debut album Herzeleid.
