Cheap City are sharing the music video for their song “Witch in the Alley” from their 2018 debut album, Clocktower Broke. The video stars drag performer Obsidienne Obsurd, who also directed and edited the video. The song has the band continues their commitment to the dance punk that lends itself to the greater extended Cheap City universe. It blends comedic storytelling while commenting on gentrification and “white women cosplaying witches,” in the words of singer Greg Nahabedian, inspired by their time living in Salem, MA. Alongside the video premiere, Cheap City also announced a limited seven-inch flexi disc, available for $1.
