Trace Remains – “Sold My Soul” [Song Review]

Melodic post-hardcore quintet Trace Remains releases their new single, “Sold My Soul.” The track is from their upcoming debut album, Leverage the Tides, slated to drop on November 8th. Recorded at The Church Recording Studio in Pittsburgh, the album was co-produced by the band and Dave Hidek. Trace Remains says about the song, “‘Sold My Soul’ is about trade-offs and decision-making in life. Sometimes, we reap what we sow, and we get it wrong. but our mistakes don’t have to define us. Music heals. Sound heals.” Trace Remains was formed in 2017. The band’s name was borrowed from the song “All Through A Life,” by Fugazi co-founder Guy Picciotto’s emotive hardcore band, Rites of Spring.
