The Vapors have released their new full-length, Wasp In A Jar, via Vapors Own Records and Red Chuck Records in the US. The album follows its three predecessors in conveying an individual feeling of its own, both lyrically and musically, with founder member Dave Fenton‘s lyrics as observational, poetic and open to interpretation as ever. Their classic debut, 1980’s New Clear Days, mixed commentary about the mundanities of late ’70s and early ’80s life combined with the paranoia stirred up by the state of the world as it was back then. 1981’s Magnets brought a more personalized study with 2020’s Together bringing a joyful celebration of the eventual reunion.
