Montreal’s The Last Mile have released their new album, Holding On To Hope, via Thousand Islands Records, Pavones Records and Bearded Punk Records. Recorded in Vancouver by long-time collaborator, Jesse Gander and mastered by Jason Livermore at The Blasting Room, these songs are a natural progression of the bands signature heartfelt songs, leaning in a more modern hardcore vein while still retaining their punk rock roots. The themes on Holding On To Hope range from grief and caregiving to the toxicity of nostalgia, gender inequality in music, emotional repression and the search for meaning in chaos.
