Apparently the guy from The Neighbourhood now fronts a hardcore band. In addition to making hip hop/R&B-ish solo music as Jesse®, he’s got a hardcore band called Valley Girl and they just put out a demo that was produced by in-demand hardcore producer Taylor Young and features Taylor’s brother and Twitching Tongues/God’s Hate bandmate Colin Young on drums. They played their first show on Saturday (1/27) at the Midnight Hour in San Fernando, CA, which was also the record release show for Cosmic Joke‘s self-titled debut album (which was co-released by Triple B Records and Colin Young’s HardLore podcast’s new record label HardLore Records, and also features engineering and mixing by Taylor Young).
