Americana/country/rock/folk/R&B outfit The FrannyO Show recently dropped their new single, “Carolina,” from their forthcoming sophomore album, Big Box of Time, set for release on August 9. Discussing The FrannyO Show’s sound, frontman Fran O’Connell says, “If you put Delta Blues, New England folk, classic Country, Irish tongue-in-cheek humour, and Caribbean rhythm into a pot and let it simmer, you’d get The FrannyO Show.” After working most of his life as a nurse, about ten years ago, O’Connell found the guitar he had given to his oldest daughter, Alison, under a bed.
