The Damned have been confirm as Friday night headliners on the Empress Ballroom main stage at Rebellion Festival. Back fighting fit with Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies and Paul Gray, this line up are playing shows together for the first time in over 30 years. Next year will also be 48 years since their ground breaking debut album Damned Damned Damned was released and 29 years since they headlined the very first Holidays In The Sun Festival, the precursor to the Rebellion Festival, that was held at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. The Damned are currently on tour in the EU with UK tour dates scheduled for next month with support from Dr & The Medics & The Fleshtones .
