Though Manchester is a music city, renowned as much for its independent ethos as it is for spawning the likes of The Smiths, The Stone Roses and Oasis, there’s no doubt that, from the outside at least, it’s also a city seemingly happy to rest on its laurels, as indenti-kit indie bands aim to ape the successes of those that came before them. Fortunately, where Supera Morza are concerned, that shit doesn’t fly. A four-piece hailing from both Manchester and Bolton, the band haven’t so much carved their own niche, as blasted it out of the city’s bedrock.
