Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard has announced his debut solo album, Happy Birthday. After sharing previous records with his bands Calpurnia and The Aubreys, the 22-year-old is going it alone this time around, and will release his first proper solo effort on June 6 via AWAL. And, interestingly, according to a press release, the nine tracks that now make up Happy Birthday came from a challenge set by Finn himself to write a grand total of 50 songs in 2022. “I ended up writing a lot of terrible stuff,” he explains, “but a few of those songs I was really proud of went to The Aubreys.
