Steel Bridges Pay Tribute To Vilain Pingouin On “Vilain” EP

Quebec’s Steel Bridges, the Philippe Routhier solo punk studio project, has released a mini-album tribute to Quebec’s legendary rock band Vilain Pingouin with his brand new EP, Vilain, that covers a trio of classic songs from the group, Steel Bridges style. You will find a good dose of punk music influenced by the skatepunk and melodic hardcore wave of the 90s, with a rock-metal side which characterizes the sonic identity of the project. All the songs on Vilain were self-produced in Routhier’s studio, as ever it’s a 100% DIY project. When Rudy Caya, singer of Vilain Pingouin, heard the EP his reaction was “Wow! Vraiment très cool!”.
