Squint announce debut LP ‘Big Hand,’ share two new songs

If you’re into the whole hardcore/alt-rock crossover thing going on right now with bands like Militarie Gun, Drug Church, Scowl, Turnstile, etc, you need to make sure St. Louis’ Squint are on your radar. They put out two great EPs in 2022, and now they’ve announced their debut album, Big Hand, due October 25 via Sunday Drive (pre-order). The album was produced by Jon Markson, who’s become a go-to guy for this kind of stuff (he’s also worked with Drug Church, One Step Closer, Koyo, and tons more), and it includes recent single “Magic” plus two new songs that just came out today, “Pack Rat” and “Sunshine.” The new material is some of Squint’s best yet.
