Speed‘s debut LP Only One Mode is one of the most fun, replayable hardcore records of the year, but as good as the album is, the Australian band really needs to be experienced live to get the full picture. They nearly stole the show opening for Have Heart at Brooklyn Monarch a few weeks ago, and I imagine it’s only gonna be crazier when their headlining tour brings them back to Brooklyn for a show on September 24 at Elsewhere Hall. That show is with Angel Du$t, Big Boy, and LIHC locals Hangman and it sold out, but if you missed out on tickets or just wanna see Speed two nights in a row with a completely different stacked lineup on night two, you’re in luck.
