The legendary New York post-hardcore rockers in Quicksand rolled through Los Angeles this past weekend with two shows at the Troubadour. Supporting their stellar new album, Distant Populations, and boasting Cave-In/Mutoid Man singer & axe shredder, Stephen Brodsky as a second live guitarist, the band’s sold out first show on Saturday evening was a fist pumping, sing along for the ages. The Texas rockers in Narrow Head were ripping the stage up as we arrived. The band’s guitar heavy sound [sporting three guitarists in their ranks!] seemed to win over the legion of Quicksand disciples in attendance.
