Ruby Waters brought her magical “What’s The Point Tour” to Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom last weekend. After opening for City and Colour at the Rogers Arena last February, the Juno Awards nominee made it back to Vancouver to perform in a sold-out venue with a crowd hungry to see Ruby live. For this show, she brought Australian punk artist Slim Krusty, who did not need much to entertain the crowd. Krusty, a one-man plus acoustic guitar act, delivered his passioned lyrics with strong guitar swings and a great personality. Ruby Waters hopped on the stage and started her set with “Rabbit Hole” from her 2020 EP It Comes Down to It. Her aura on stage matched her vibrant voice, becoming one with the crowd who sang with the same passion. In the middle of her set, Ruby performed “Heather” and “Alm...
