Vancouver punk rock four piece Rest Easy, who include members of Daggermouth and Shook Ones in their line up, have unveiled On The Outside. The track is the final single to be taken from the band’s new album, Hope You’re Okay, that will be released on October 28th via Mutant League Records. “”On The Outside” is about a friend of mine, a survivor of domestic violence. I think DV is a subject that needs to be talked about more, especially now. I wanted to write a song to help people who are stuck in DV and also to help normalize the conversation. So so many people in this world deal with DV everyday.
