Renowned trumpeter, composer, and bandleader Rachel Therrien is set to release her eighth album, Mi Hogar II, on March 7, 2025, via Lula World Records. A continuation of her acclaimed 2023 release, Mi Hogar, this new album is a vibrant celebration of Latin jazz, Afro-Caribbean rhythms, and contemporary jazz fusion. With Mi Hogar II, Therrien further explores her deep connection to Latin music, collaborating with an all-star ensemble that includes legendary bassist John Benítez, Grammy-winning vocalist and violinist Mireya Ramos, Cuban piano virtuoso Manuel Valera, and the award-winning Cuban-Canadian duo OKAN, among others.
