After a period of rest, reflection and transformation, in 2021 Pulled Apart By Horses signed to their new home at Alcopop! Records for the release of their long-awaited forthcoming fifth studio album, Reality Cheques, that is out today. The band also parted ways with guitarist James Brown, in the wake of this Rob Lee took over on guitar duties, Tom Hudson and Tommy Davidson continued with vocals and drums and Owen Griffiths (Blacklisters) returned to guest on bass for live dates. In light of the line up change, when writing for Reality Cheques, the band made a collective decision to create a set of songs that were minimal, simple, direct, and delivered with rawness and urgency.
