For majestic, multi-style jams and ambitious music excursions it’s pretty hard to miss out on Argentinian progressive rock trio AKENATHON. Influenced by a range of styles including jazz, tango, folklore, and various subgenres of heavy music, Akenathon released their debut album Peregrino in 2009, and the long-awaited follow-up hit the streets early this year. “Como Hormigas” beholds to no specific narrative, pushing at rock’s limits, deploying multi-varied and unpredictable rhythms and majestic solos with equal command.
