Planes Mistaken For Stars announce new album with Gared O’Donnell’s final recordings

Planes Mistaken For Stars vocalist Gared O’Donnell passed away from stage III esophageal cancer in 2021, but what we didn’t know at the time was that Gared wrote and recorded one last album with Planes amid his cancer treatment and global lockdown. Titled Do You Still Love Me?, it’s the band’s first album since 2016’s Prey and it arrives November 1 via Deathwish (pre-order). The album was recorded by Sanford Parker in Chicago, and mixed after Gared passed. First single “Fix Me,” which is out now, finds Planes and Gared sounding as gritty, gravelly, and uniquely great as they ever have.
