Los Angeles rockers Palaye Royale brought their brand of glam rock and roll to NYC’s Webster Hall on Sunday evening along with their friend and opening act Mod Sun. Mod Sun stands for (movement on dreams, stand under none) and is the stage name of Derek Ryan Smith. Formerly making music in his own “hippie hop” genre – Mod Sun moved to pop-punk in 2021 with the release of his first rock-centric album, Internet Killed The Rockstar.
