After teasing it since at least 2019, Paint It Black have finally announced a new album. It’s called Famine, it’s their first release since their killer 2013 EP Invisible, and it will be the band’s first release for the legendary Revelation Records. It comes out on November 3. The album was recorded live to tape with engineer Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Jeff Rosenstock, etc), and it features guitar from Don DeVore (Ink & Dagger, Collapsing Scenery, etc) on “Dominion,” guest vocals from Brian Stern (Planet On A Chain, Look Back and Laugh, Talk Is Poison, Dead and Gone, etc), and guest vocals from Cold World’s Dan Mills on “The Unreasonable Silence.” On why now was the time for a new Paint It Black album, vocalist Dan Yemin said: It’s importa...
