Original American Idiot Broadway Cast Sing 21 Guns For Show’s 10th Anniversary

To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Green Day’s huge musical adaptation of American Idiot, the original Broadway cast have come together (well… in their separate homes) to perform a virtual rendition of 21 Guns. The GRAMMY and Tony-award winning show opened on Broadway on April 20, 2010, following its initial run at Berkeley Rep’s Roda Theatre from September 4 to November 15, 2009. In commemoration of this huge milestone, members of the cast including John Gallagher Jr., Rebecca Naomi Jones, Michael Esper, Christina Sajous, Mary Faber and Stark Sands met up virtually to cover smash single 21 Guns, which is taken from Green Day’s 2009 album 21st Century Breakdown.
