Ufomammut have dropped a new single and video entitled “Psychostasia” from their new record, Fenice, set for release May 6 via Neurot Recordings and Supernatural Cat Records. The record itself was originally conceived of as a single conceptual track which was then divided up into six individual songs. It also features the first recording with new drummer Levre. Urlo states: “I think we lost our spontaneity, album after album. “We tried to make more complicated songs and albums, but I think at some point we just ended up repeating ourselves. With Fenice, we were ready to start from zero—we had no past anymore—so we just wanted to be reborn and rise from the ashes.” Fenice will be released May 6 on LP, CD, and digital formats via Neurot Recordings with a limited LP version of 666...
