OFF! have recorded a brilliant, frenzied, anarchic, punk rock ala the MC5 inspired version of Metallica’s “Holier Than Thou,” and it’s just about the greatest thing since, well, anything. OFF! are one of 53 artists covering songs from ‘tallica’s Black Album for a compilation record due out September 10 called The Metallica Blacklist. I have no fear saying this is the best cover song I’ve ever heard and the best video I’ve seen in 2021, yet.
