Following a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nomination, Wayne Kramer is getting back to kicking out the jams. He’ll release the first new music under the MC5 name since 1972 with two singles expected ahead of newly announced May tour dates. An album titled heavy Lifting is planned for this year. The first taste of new music from the iconic proto-punks comes in a video teasing the album with part of a new song.
