Lee Buford (The Body) and Zac Jones (Braveyoung/MSC) have announced a new collaboration called Manslaughter 777. The duo’s debut, World Vision Perfect Harmony, will be out on March 19 via Thrill Jockey. The new album blends bracing, imaginative takes on rhythmic-centric forms from dub, breakbeats, hip-hop and beyond for a phantasmagoria of bristling drumscapes. Debut single and video “Do You Know Who Loves You” captures the album’s alchemical balance of detailed and dynamic production, spinning fragmented Amen breaks and elysian vocal snippets out into expansive, contemplative atmospheres.
