Legendary Killing Joke drummer Big Paul Ferguson has signed a deal with indie giant Cleopatra Records for an upcoming solo album. The album has been long in gestation, and is expected in 2021. Ferguson says, “I’m super excited to be working now with Cleopatra and to have the support of such an amazing team. It’s an honor for me to join their roster of influential artists and am looking forward to working with them.” Cleopatra owner Brian Perera adds, “One listen to this record and instantly we knew we had something very special. Paul is absolutely a creative force to be reckoned with!” Ferguson’s tribal drumming was the backbone of many of Killing Joke’s biggest songs.
