The one and only Descendents have released a raw, 56-second track, “Like The Way I Know”, from their upcoming album, 9th & Walnut, out July 23 via Epitaph. Drummer Bill Stevenson describes the single: “One of the very first Descendents songs, written in 1977, by (founding member) David Nolte, about how living in Hermosa Beach made him feel like a freak.” 9th & Walnut features the original four-piece Descendents line-up: bassist Tony Lombardo, drummer Bill Stevenson, late guitarist Frank Navetta, and vocalist Milo Aukerman. The 18-track album was recorded in 2002, and is made up of the bands’ earliest material, written from 1977 through 1980. Descendents are hitting the road later this month with Rise Against and The Menzingers, for their first full tour run since 1997. Check...
