Following on the heels of their debut single, “Radio Warning,” Colorado-based alt-rock outfit Mynd Reader is back with their new single/music video, “Simply Avanti,” a song about tenacity, love, and pressing on. “Simply Avanti” foreshadows Mynd Reader’s upcoming debut album due out later this year. Mynd Reader is led by Matt Schultz and Brian Sachs, the drummer for the band The Authority, managed by the renowned Bill Graham. Sachs has shared the stage with Dave Matthews, Phish, and Blues Traveler. After Graham’s passing, The Authority broke up. Yet Sachs soldiered on, continuing to write new material and drumming.
