Metallica’s James Hetfield was a special guest during this year’s Little Kids Rock virtual benefit, sharing his relationship with music and how important music education is for children. Papa Het’s video appearance was also broken up by some truly wholesome footage of the metal legend and his previous work with the non-profit group in the past – having donated items to a Little Kids Rock auction, and even performed with some of the kids at 2013’s Little Kids Rock Rockin’ the Bay Benefit. There’s also some super-sweet interview clips with the frontman being quizzed by the kids, answering questions about who he looked up to when he was younger, what instrument he first started learning, and what it was like playing with the Little Kids Rock group.
