In a two-headliners tour, British Columbia’s very own Mother Mother showed English singer Cavetown that Vancouverites know how to rock. Mother Mother and Cavetown have joined forces for their “Summer Tour 2024.” The sixth date of the tour was at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on June 15th. On a last-minute change, Destroy Boys, who were scheduled to be the openers of the tour, had to cancel due to medical issues. Punk rockers Meet Me at the Altar, who are not strangers to Vancouver’s scene, filled in. As openers, Meet Me at the Altar had a short time on stage but delivered nonetheless. “Say It (To My Face)” was the first song they performed, the first single from their debut album Past // Present // Future.
