Maisonette are what in old mans terms (yes I’m now an old punk) a new punk band, in the sense that they are young, new and not old enough to have been sacred by the fact that their name bares a resemblance to the eighties one hit wonders The Maisonettes of ‘Heartbreak Avenue’ fame, so when searching for them be aware that these guys are truly hardcore punk with a modern youthful slice of attitude and most certainly won’t throw out 60’s vibes in a hurry. Coming out of Brighton they have big shoes to trample all over, bands like PussyLiquor, Poison Girls and Peter & The Test Tube Babies to name some belters.
