While it seems as though as new Metallica record will be a while off (especially given that frontman James Hetfield recently re-entered a treatment program to work on his recovery from addiction), guitarist Kirk Hammett has revealed just how much great material he has for album number 11. The six-stringer famously lost a phone containing some 500 musical ideas ahead of the making of ’Tallica’s latest record – the brilliant Hardwired… To Self-Destruct – meaning that he ended up contributing little to the final product.
