Taking over Manchester’s Lion’s Den Bar on the 3rd December, King Kurt will be concluding their current 40th anniversary tour with a bang. Playing songs from across their 40 year-long career, the band will be offering fun and frolics aplenty, with DJ sets, a late night bar and silly prizes for the worst Christmas jumpers worn on the night. The band will also be joined by Manchester’s own Standing In For Joe for a covers set of late ’70s and early ’80s punk, encompassing everything from The Clash to Stiff Little Fingers, and Sonny Ericsson, a new killer act who recently remixed King Kurt‘s 1982 debut single, Zulu Beat.
