John Kolar just released his newest single, “Tie My Shoes.” This song showcases a smooth feel right from the jump—like a chill jazz jam mixed with a classic indie rock sound. It’s got a buzzy electric guitar leading the way underneath lyrics speaking of how messy and confusing love can be these days. “Tie My Shoes” is the second track off his ten-track, full length album coming out in November 2025. Kolar plans to release one song a month, all year long, leading to the release of the album. By day, Kolar works at Ball State University in Indiana as an audio engineering professor, instructing students on the process of mixing and creating music.
