Joe Gittleman (ex-Bosstones) announces debut solo LP, shares new song
Since the breakup of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, former bassist (and Avoid One Thing vocalist) Joe Gittleman has been focusing on his solo career, and today he announced his debut solo album. It’s called Hold Up, and it comes out June 21 via Bad Time Records (pre-order). Joe produced it himself, and lead single/opening track “Plastered In The Rafters” features trombone by D-Ray of Joe’s recent splitmates Bad Operation. That song is out now, and it scratches a similar itch as classic Bosstones/Avoid One Thing and finds Joe’s voice in great, gravelly form. Check it out below.
