Nashville-based artist Jaryn Jones released her new song “Woman”—and it’s an emotional tribute to women who have been victims of assault, inspired by a tragic story that hit close to home. The idea for “Woman” came after Jaryn Jones heard about a horrible incident just 20 minutes from her Nashville home. A woman was attacked while running on the Mill Creek Greenway—she was followed and attacked and while she fought back, she tragically lost her life.
