Avenged Sevenfold frontman M. Shadows has discussed his experience of being made into a playable Call Of Duty character, calling it “a total trip” and a “career highlight”. It was revealed last week that the vocalist would join Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4, as part of the new Operation Apocalypse Z Blackout – a collaboration that follows last year’s Black Reign EP, a release which contained all of Avenged Sevenfold’s Call Of Duty: Black Ops singles in one place. The album is the first from the band without drummer James the Rev Sullivan, who passed away in December. Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy plays drums on the album.
