Ingrown announce new album ‘Idaho,’ share brutally heavy new song “Bullet”

Boise death-metallic hardcore band Ingrown have announced their sophomore album, Idaho, which follows 2021’s Gun and comes out on March 7 via Closed Casket Activities (pre-order). It was recorded by Andy Nelson (of Weekend Nachos), and it features 11 songs in 18 minutes, including a cover “Asylum,” the 1988 song by vocalist/guitarist Ross Hansen’s father Erik’s father’s hardcore band State of Confusion. The title track, which closes the album, dives into mandolin-driven traditional folk music. The album includes recent single “Enemy,” as well as the just-released “Bullet,” and both are brutally heavy.
