The first time I came face-to-face with Mancunian slam crew Ingested was in the back room of a bar in Reading where they smashed the skulls of that early evening crowd into a splintered mush. Who’d have thought then that, fifteen years later, we’d be sat here celebrating the career of the band who have, and quite rightfully so, become one of the leaders of the UK death/slam scene? Well, we are doing exactly that, and to provide the soundtrack to our celebrations, the band have dug back into the sewers of the early days and dragged up this festering offering.
