Green Day share previously-unheard demo cover of Elvis Costello’s Alison

With two weeks to go until the release of their Nimrod anniversary box set, Green Day have shared another new (well… new to us) track from the collection. Back when they recorded Nimrod over 25 years ago now, Billie Joe Armstrong and co. also recorded a demo version of Alison by Elvis Costello (taken from his 1977 debut My Aim Is True), which was unreleased… until now. Nimrod 25 – 25th Anniversary Edition will also feature the never-before-heard song Tre Polka, plus more demos, and a Live At The Electric Factory 1997 album.
