“A Danish punk band?” I hear you say, best I can come up with is Horrorpops the Psychobilly punksters who hail from Uphill Struggle’s hometown of Copenhagen too. So getting the chance to hear something that actually is new to my ears, and from a country that seems to struggle (is this how the name came about?) to get noticed in the punk world is bloody great, especially when they sound like this. An EP of six songs, half an album seems more near to the mark, kicking off with “Slow Down” a fast paced 90’s punk filled track that takes you all the way back, with glimpses of sound that might be akin to Pennywise, but with hints of early Billie Joe Armstrong vocal peering through the vale at you, a catchy chorus that never leaves you even as the sixth track ends.
