Fléau have just landed like an earthquake in my headphones with their imaginatively title new EP Fléau, a four track powerhouse of French Punk/Oi, that has them fighting with everyone and everything they can possibly get their murderess hands on. Bringing a sense of brutality to every word of this EP, it opens with ‘Gloire Eternelle’ which in it self contours up thoughts of some kind of tribal banding together to fight for the glory of living, musically this is heavy, but not as heavy as the the message or the vocal, you find yourself nodding a bit like you might at a slipknot gig. ‘Affliction’ rocks up next into the conscious, a song of that sets out the bands real agenda.
