Dream-pop indie star, Angel Olsen, is releasing her new EP, Aisles, via the label Jagjaguwar. Aisles is a five track collection of covers of 80’s & 90’s hits, close to Olsen’s heart. Angel Olsen has kept the integrity of each song, while folding in her own cosmic inspiration for a new emotional experience in every note. Track 1: Gloria ‘Gloria’ is the biggest step away from the original of all of Aisles’ tracks. ‘Gloria’ was originally performed by Italian Umberto Tozzi (written by Tozzi and Giancarlo Bigazzi) in 1979. The translated version then rose to U.S. pop chart fame with Laura Branigan in 1982.
