E.R.I.E. – “Bad Man’s World” [Song Review]

Albany, New York-based indie-rock outfit E.R.I.E. recently dropped their latest single/music video, “Bad Man’s World,” a track lifted from their second LP, Suburban Mayhem, set for release on April 7 via Mint 400 Records. Suburban Mayhem features delicious, pitch-perfect collaborations with Brooklyn-based dream-pop trio ALMA and fellow Albany, NY area songwriter Sydney Worthley. Made up of TJ Foster, Matt Delgado (guitar), Chad Flewwelling (drums), and Levi Jennes, E.R.I.E.’s sound conjures up suggestions of The Gaslight Anthem, Frank Turner, and The Menzingers, or, as self-described by the band, Tom Petty cosplaying as Blink-182.
